#302: The Dangers of Beauty—Dr. E. Michael Jones

Dr. Jones has a new book out—well, as usual, it’s a few books between two covers. This one covers the gamut of culture war content from a very interesting set of angles. It’s titled The Dangers of Beauty: The Conflict Between Mimesis and Concupiscence In the Fine Arts.

The whole idea is framed around painting in Italy, poetry in England, music in Germany, and influences everywhere from a variety of critical sources. Ever hear how “beauty is in the eye of the beholder?” Find out why this is not really, not fully, true. So much to chew on here.
