About Me

Hi, I’m Patrick Coffin. I wrote Sex Au Naturel: What It Is and Why It’s Good For Your Marriage, (link to our store on patrickcoffin.net) and the e-booklet, Stay Cool When the Argument Heats Up: Proven Strategies for Calm Conversing. For nearly eight years I hosted the top-rated Catholic radio show in America, Catholic Answers Live, and the podcast, Catholic Answers Focus.

WHAT THIS IS ABOUT

My mission is to inspire and support people of faith—and of reason—who are tired of the increasingly aggressive secularism and political correctness that surrounds them. We do this through unfiltered commentary and interviews with sages of the great Judeo-Christian tradition (thought leaders and influencers) and with survivors (heroes who have stood up to the bullying elites).

Great question! I hold graduate degrees in philosophy and theology from McGill University in Montreal and Franciscan University of Steubenville, and have conducted many hundreds of interviews with top leaders from around the world. In Catholicism, this means Vatican cardinals like Raymond Cardinal Burke, George Cardinal Pell, and Francis Cardinal Arinze along with bishops from Africa, Canada, the US, and France.

In American politics, this means presidential candidates Newt Gingrich, Gov. Bobby Jindal, Patrick Buchanan, Sen. Rick Santorum, and Congressman Jeff Fortenberry.

In Hollywood, this means actors and directors Kevin Costner, Joseph Fiennes, Colin Brady, Mike Disa, Harry Connick, Jr., Robert Davi, Jeannie Gaffigan (wife of Jim), and Matthew Marsden.

In medicine, this means Dr. Thomas Hilgers, the creator of NAPRO and designer of the Creighton Model of NFP; psychiatrist Dr. Aaron Kheriaty, and Dr. George Delgado, developer of the abortion reversal pill.

In professional sports, this means five-time MLB all-star Mike Sweeney, San Diego Chargers’ quarterback Philip Rivers, QB Kellen Clemens, and former Dodger and Padres Mark Loretta.

From the world of literature this means writers Dean Koontz and Poet Laureate of California Dana Gioia – along with scores of theologians and ordinary people with incredible stories of faith and courage.

Raised in beautiful Nova Scotia, I live in Orange County, CA, where I travel the beaches in vain for a Tim Horton’s coffee. I love ironing, Frank Capra movies, racquetball, coming up with new nicknames for my daughters, and making my wife smile.
